Pokémon GO Round Up 7
So I decided to give this Pokémon GO thing a try last week. I loaded it up on my iPhone and started walking around where I live, like so many others. My friend that the mob had consumed me. Haha. Maus told me of a video he saw of a park in New York where there was just a mob of people. You’ll know I live in a very populated area, so I run into all sorts of things. My apartment is almost on top of a gym, which is nice.

We thought a Burger King was a gym yesterday, so we ate there only to discover that the Qdoba across the street was the actual gym. I decided I’d try battling a gym again, now that my Pokémon are a little higher level. I got to the second battle! But, yeah, didn’t do much after that.
After the battle, I had to heal up my little guys:
You’ll notice I have a Jolteon! I discovered a little secret. If you rename your Eevee to the names of the Pokémon in the episode where they are featured, such as Rainer, or Sparky, Eevee will evolve into that particular Pokémon, as opposed to a random one.
I’m working on getting a Flareon and a Vaporeon too. As you can see my combat points are going up. Part of that is that I used an special egg to accelerate my path to level 10, which I achieved yesterday:
Both my eggs I was incubating hatched, but they didn’t have anything too exciting in them other than my high combat point Eevee. I now have 3 eggs incubating.
This morning I walked around Old Town on my way to Starbucks and I made some new catches! I’d like to present my bells:
and my new Jigglypuff:
Here are the other highlights of my hunting. Notice my combat points are starting to get much higher. Soon, I’ll be battling for real at a gym (I so want to take over the one on my corner). We’ll see:
So, that’s the Pokémon world today. I choose you Mauschu!
