Asher talks about the last several weeks, discussing all the manga he’s read, the art piece he finished from Art Therapy, his new found friend, Gorehound’s Playground viewings, Christmas trees, Seth Material, and possible future employment. All in all, a very Asher time.
Maus made a post once on Facebook, at least I believe it was him, which he claimed captured me perfectly. He was right, it was the image of a coffee and on it the words appeared, paraphrased, “I don’t really have a plan every day, just coffee and strangeness my friend, coffee and strangeness.”
But, I’ve started writing down my thoughts on notes, and hopefully I’ll have more comprehensive blog data in the long run. In the mean time, I have to decide what I’m going to write my next essay on, and what tutorial I’m going to do first. I was thinking something mathematical, as I’m not quite ready for a philosophy explication.
I used to obsess over these kinds of movies when I was younger. I didn’t own any copies of my own, so much like Howard the Duck, Labyrinth, All Dogs Go To Heaven, and others, I had to wait until some circumstance in my life allowed me to see it again (it was usually called cable). I loved those movies.
Maus and I went out to Starbucks. Oh my god, really? While we went to Starbucks we observed the fresh snow falling and took a few pictures, and a video (below). That day we were hoping to go see the Christmas lights at the light garden off in some other part of Fort Collins. I guess it’s sponsored by something or other, I never really paid attention. I mean, how could you, there’s so many shinies! One of the cool things we saw was lights under the snow. These are lights covered up by perfectly pristine snow. The effect is cool!
At one point I wasn’t sure what was holding up the deal, but then I learned from Maus that he wanted colored lights. I said, “You mean, all this time you’ve been looking for colored lights? That’s what the deal has been?” And he’s like, “Well, yeah.” Once I understood the problem, we quickly acquired a pretty nice tree with colored lights. You know how it goes.
